DR. HWANG, Ji-hyun

Dr. Ji-hyun Hwang is a linguist proficient in Russian, English, Swedish, Korean, and Polish; a communication strategist; and a multidisciplinary researcher with over 23 years of leadership and expertise in banking, technology, and international trade and investment advisory. She has led strategic initiatives at SEB Corporate & Investment Banking and LG Electronics, driving innovation, performance management, and global policy development. She began her career at KOTRA in Seoul, supporting foreign direct investment planning and international trade affairs. She earned her Ph.D. from St. Petersburg State University and BA and MA degrees from Yonsei University in Seoul, later serving as a researcher at Stockholm University. Her early work in Russian and Slavic linguistics and literature evolved into multidisciplinary research shaped by her industry experience. She also holds certificates in narrative economics (Yale University), sustainable finance (Finanskompetens), and inclusive leadership and workplace diversity (University of Colorado). She is a member of Stockholm FP&A Board. Bridging the humanities and industry, Dr. Hwang’s work spans philology, finance, culture, innovation, ESG sustainability, and digital-era change, which she shares through talks and publications.

Professor Mihye Kim is currently a faculty member in the Department of Computer Engineering at Chungbuk National University. Her research spans decision-making algorithms based on fuzzy theory as well as emerging work in the field of Digital Therapeutics. She served as President of the Korean Association for Science Communication (2016–2018) and has held key national roles including Expert Member of the National Science and Technology Advisory Council, and so on.

Mark Yi-Cheon Yim, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Manning School of Business, University of Massachusetts Lowell, with an affiliated appointment in the university’s Digital Media Department. His research centers on technology-driven digital marketing, robotics, and e-tailing. Dr. Yim's work has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Interactive Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Advertising, and International Marketing Review, among others.
