Dear distinguished guests and participants, It is my great honor and pleasure to welcome all of you to the Europe-Korea Conference on Science and Technology 2025 (EKC2025), which will be held at the TU Wien in Vienna, Austria. The EKC2025 is hosted by the Korean Scientists and Engineers Association in Austria (KOSEAA) together with the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST) and eight other affiliates in Europe which are in Germany (VeKNI), France (ASCoF), United Kingdom (KSEAUK), Finland (KOSES), Scandinavia (KSSEA), the Netherlands (KOSEANL), Switzerland (KSEAS), and Belgium (KOSEAbe). Welcome to Vienna! We are delighted to welcome you to the most livable city in the world, where culture, history meets innovation, for our conference themed "Global Innovative Frontiers: Bridging Research and Industry: Exploring Fundamentals and Driving Prosperity". It has a focus on the intersection between cutting-edge research and its practical applications in industry to foster economic and societal growth.
